Coverage of the Pink for Tink event: Hardcore gamers supporting breast cancer

Posted by on May 12, 2010
So many PinkforTinks
The Pink for Tink event is pretty amazing, if you ask us. Of course, we’re biased. But the juxtaposition of Breast Cancer support and hardcore video gamers doesn’t happen that often. Video games is one of the most trifling aspects of our lives, cancer one of the most critical.

The story is getting a little coverage, most notably by the major MMO news-site MMORPG.com. The comments from strangers, about the moving quality of the story, is worth the read.

  • mmorpg.com made the front page.  this is the full article with comments.
  • Badland’s own Werit (Tirew) covered this a while ago.
  • Shadow-War, another great MMO blog
  • Warhammer Alliance picked up the Mmorpg.com feed.
  • Another regular warhammer blogger: Tobold’s article
  • Portugese MMO site
  • German MMO site with over 100 comments.  (Google translate version: didn’t help much unfortunately.)

Hello from a fellow WAR player, here’s a video I just made (with some proper fights in it instead of that rubbish on the BO =).
It’s all dedicated to Tink, as I was (and still am) wearing the colors!

      Keep on fighting Trish!
