This is one of the great hikes on the planet, certainly one that can be done with children. It’s a must for anyone that is going to the Amalfi coast. And don’t worry if you can’t find much information about it. Any cab driver will take you to the entrance. We found it easy to navigate.
Beware though, there really are 1700 steps down the other side to Positano. It’s not a technical trek in any sense, but you will burn some calories and be ready for that espresso and gelatto when you hit Positano.
